There is nothing more exciting that working with the bride to be. She is so excited, so happy and so full of ideas.

She comes to your bridal shop and has visions of colors and bridesmaids’ dresses and of course her own gown that she’ll wear.

Having photos of other brides and other bridesmaids can be very helpful in assisting the bride to be in making her choices.

Some brides want each bridesmaid to wear a different color dress. Seeing how this looks in a photo can help the bride to be in determining if this is what she wants at her own wedding. Having previous customers submit their photos along with a short paragraph of why this choice worked would be a great asset in helping the customer who is standing in front of you today.

Different fabrics and different styles will look different on different women. Seeing photos of women of various heights and sizes can help the customer in your shop make her decisions about which dress might look best on her.

Many brides to be look through wedding magazines. They do this to get a visual image of what they want. They want to see the many styles available.

Consider having a few scrapbooks each with a different budget in mind. I know it can be so upsetting to look at dresses and find a dress you like only to discover it’s nowhere in the ball park of the budget you’ve allotted for your dress.

In a scrapbook you can show front views of real brides in their wedding gowns. Additionally you can show side views and you can show back views.

The same is true for the bridesmaids’ dresses. Different fabrics and different styles will look different on each woman. By showing the various views of the dresses, and by showcasing them in the different price ranges, you’ll help the bride to be make her decisions.

Create a scrapbook of accessories also. Some women want a traditional veil. Some women prefer a hat. Some women want a long veil, some want a shorter veil.

Let your photos do some of the selling for you. Let these scrapbooks lead the bride to be through the sorting process without having to try on dresses yet.
